Program:
Anderson, Indiana - In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, CSC is hosting a panel including Annette Craycraft (Executive Director of East Central Indiana CASA, Inc), Jama Donovan (Director of Children's Buereau Exchange Club) and a representative from the Anderson Police Department to discuss how we are preventing child abuse in our local community.

A little more about our panel...
Annette Craycraft is a graduate of Ball State University. She is actively involved with many local and state organizations and is a member of Delta Delta Delta Fraternity. She has previously worked on various local, state and congressional campaigns, as well as the IN State Senate, IN House of Representatives, the IN Election Commission as Co-Director of Campaign Finance and as a Special Assistant for Governor O'Bannon. Annette currently serves on multiple task forces and committees, including a position as Chair of the Mad. Co. Child Sexual Abuse Task Force, the Child Protection Team and Mad. Co. United Way Executive Director's Roundtable. In 2007, she was awarded the Women of Achievement Award for Advocacy for Women and Children by Ball State University.

Jama Donovan is an Anderson native and graduate of Madison Heights High School. She received her Bachelor's degree from Ball State University and has been working in the non-profit world with children and families for 13 years. She has been with the Children's Bureau for 9 years, and served as the Director of the Exchange Club Family Resource Center for 5 years. Jama currently serves on multiple committees and groups, including the Chair of Prevent Child Abuse Madison County, Honor Our Children, United Way vision council, Community Partners for Child Safety Steering Committee and others. She is also a 2009 graduate of the Leadership Academy of Madison County.

Lunch:
Lunch will be provided for $5, thanks to the Food Services at United Faith Housing.
