CSC Funk Band includes freaky avant-rockers such as Colin Langenus (The USA Is a Monster) and Matt Mottel (Talibam!), and two ex-Charlottesville drummers Jimmy Thompson (Tulsa Drone, Gwar, Bio Ritmo) and Matthew Clark (Ostinato). They offer hectic '70s-style jams nodding to James Brown, Fela and other icons of groove.
