CRLG Spring Lace Day April 28, 2007

We'd like to invite anyone in the MD/DC/VA area to attend our
Chesapeake Region Lace Guild Spring Lace Day on Saturday April 28,
2007.

You don't need to be a member; please come and enjoy a display of
our members' work, lacemaking demonstrations, and "try-me" pillows
and tatting shuttles available for those who want to try their hand
at lacemaking.

Our Spring Lace Day will be held at the Old Town Hall (3999
University Drive) in Fairfax, Virginia. This event is open to the
public and all are welcome. The doors will be open to the public
between 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. At 11:00 a.m. Diane Herbort, a
noted textile artist, will speak on "The Romance of the Crazy Quilt."

In addition to the speaker, several vendors will be be on hand with
a wide variety of lacemaking books and supplies for sale.
