Guided Walk: Presidio to Mission Dolores
Join a Ranger for this 4-mile journey through early California history that
finishes with fun at the annual Mission Fiesta.
10 AM to 1 PM
Meet at the Officer's Club, Main Post, Presidio
FREE Families with children ages 7 and up (registration is required)
(Participants must plan their own return trip)

Creature Feature
Get to know the creatures that live in our marsh through hands-on art,
science and media activities.
10 AM to 2 PM
FREE All ages; drop-in OK (children must be accompanied by an adult)

Guided Walk: Lobos Dunes
Search for wildlife and discover the hidden treasures in the park on a
scavenger hunt for the whole family.
10 AM to 12 NOON
The program begins at the Rob Hill Parking lot
FREE Families with children 5-9 (registration is required)

Saturday, October 20
Family Campfire
Celebrate the excitement and the harvest of the fall season with an outdoor
campfire at the Rob Hill Campground. Join us for storytelling, s'mores and
hot cider by the fire.
5 to 7 PM
$10 per family of four ($5 each additional) All ages welcome (registration
is required)

Saturday, October 27
Teens Explore the "Dark Side" of Alcatraz
Your adventure begins with a boat cruise around Alcatraz. Once on the
island a spooky guided tour will take you from the dock to the cellhouse. On
our chilling audio tour you'll hear the actual voices of inmates and
correctional officers who lived and worked on Alcatraz. You'll even get to
explore "the Hole," one of six dark, steel-lined boxes that haunted
prisoners. After the tour join Crissy Field Center's Inspiring Young
Emerging Leaders for creepy snacks and spine tingling refreshments.
4-7:30 PM
$7 per person (registration is required). Ages 11-18.
