This course will help participants explore and develop their own authentic writing voice and style with the objective of creating original and vibrant work with a more sustainable and enjoyable writing process. The content includes an exploration of contrasting authors work, investigative class discussion and a series of experimental writing exercises. Suggestions towards the development and strengthening of the voice and style in participants work will be discussed in a supportive and nurturing classroom environment. The class will work towards completing a sample (story, essay, article, memoire, poem etc) which embodies what they have discovered about their own authentic voice and style.
