Creative PR for Designers May 11, 2007

One of a series of free workshops and events specifically created for designers by Six Cities Design Festival's Design into Business and Learning programmes and Cultural Enterprise Office.

This workshop aims to give small design businesses and sole traders in the creative industries a greater understanding of how PR works. It will show you how to manage your own press campaigns, while developing good media and PR opportunities. From putting together press releases (even for those who can't write), to setting up a visual portfolio best suited to your product, the afternoon will equip individuals with enough insight to develop manageable marketing/PR campaigns on limited budgets. You will also look at using your website as a "press office".
