How would greater understanding and trust, both within the LGBT community with our allies, and with those who oppose gay rights -- advance queer visibility, empowerment, and liberation? Creating the Lives We Desire: A Bi-Coastal, NVC Queer [LGBT] Weekend is the second annual LGBTQ retreat co-sponsored by NVC Santa Cruz and New York’s Center for Collaborative Communication. Building on last year’s successful gathering, we’ll work as a community towards claiming our full authenticity and power, deepening trust within ourselves, our allies and our queer community, and integrating NVC consciousness in queer activism to create more powerful and effective momentum for queer liberation!
