Creating Learning Environments for Educators - on-line reading and discussions July 10, 2008

The CPsquare book club (http://www.cpsquare.org/ - the community of practice on communities of practice) will be reading and discussing selected chapters from the recent two volume book "Communities of Practice: Creating Learning Environments for Educators" over the next few months.

The discussion will be on-line; there will be some synchronous activities (e.g. teleconferences), but most of the discussion will be asynchronous and text based. All authors from both volumes have been invited to join the discussions.

If you want to participate, you will need a copy of the book; the selection of the chapters will begin in late July and the discussions will start a week later. The event is free to CPsquare members and authors, but unfortunately, it will cost non-members 50 US$.
