Creating an Inclusive Society: Revisiting the American Dream: A Community Dialogue November 20, 2009

CAUSE-NY/JCRC and LaGuardia Community College are sponsoring a forum on creating an inclusive society and revisiting the American Dream. The forum will convene local professionals, community and faith-based leaders, elected officials, representatives of government agencies, activists, advocates, educators, and case workers to learn about best practices, tools, and resources to address issues relating to diversity and community development in Queens and around New York City at large. Panelists will be asked to address diversity and inclusion within the sectors of business, education, healthcare and government. The goal is to empower local community leaders to more effectively respond to the issues while providing a space for networking and relationship building.
