The Broome County Public Library Knitting Group will hold a mini-class about creating a cable stitch pouch. If you have always wanted to learn the cable stitch but thought it was too difficult, this is the class for you! To participate in this class, you will need to know how to cast on stitches and the knit stitch. All other skills needed for this project will be taught during the class. If you are interested in this mini-class, you will need to contact Sherry Kowalski for a copy of the materials list (607-778-6423 or [email protected]).

The Library Knitting Group meets the third Wednesday of each month. The group is open to knitters of all skill levels, and each participant should bring a project to work on. Anyone interested in participating in the group’s charity knitting project can work on catnip toys and blankets for the Animal Care Council located in Endicott. For more information, please contact Sherry at the above phone number or email address.
