Create and Cook Winners July 25, 2010

The young winners of the 2010 Hampshire “Create and Cook” competition will be recreating their winning menu at Hampshire Farmers’ Markets Kitchen at Winchester on 25 July.

The boys, Jack Newbery and Kenan Pawley from Bay House School in Gosport used local produce and their menu even included basil they had grown themselves. The boys won the Fit2Cook event with their free-range chicken roulade stuffed with home-made pesto and roasted peppers and an assortment of local berry cheesecakes. More than twenty Hampshire Secondary Schools entered the competition, now in its second year.
