In their first major Twin Cities appearance in seven years, CRASH presents a 20-year retrospective of mesmerizing drumming in motion. The evening includes an array of percussion possibilities, from drummers on wheels, to a marimba powered by an exercise bicycle, to enormous gongs and lights emanating from crash cymbals. Joining CRASH for this special event is DJ JamesPatrick, one of the area’s most influential electronic musicians, who will create live remixes of CRASH’s powerful sound.
