Crash June 23, 2006

Our second annual Film Series sponsored by the Downtown Center Business Improvement District opens with 2005’s Oscar winner Crash. Several stories interweave during two days in Los Angeles involving a collection of inter-related characters. These racially and economically diverse groups of people pursue lives that collide with one another in unexpected ways. The interactions are interesting, riveting and sometimes unsettling. The film explores and challenges your ability to judge books by their covers. KCRW's Tom Schnabel, host of Cafe LA opens the evening with a DJ set.
