Through song, drama, wireless plays and traditonal Scottish music and dance the pupils of Craigowl Primary School, Dundee give back to the community an entirely new form of entertainment. Lord Provost John Letford attended the performance at the school venue and as a result offered the use of the Marryat Hall to involve the wider public.
Through the involvement and assistance of the Royal Marines, Black Watch, Officer Training Corps and many others, wartime Britain is brought to life telling the story of how the civilian and military population viewed the conflict.

For example the Royal Marine involvement centred round Afghanistan and its importance to the world of today. Officer Training Corps highlighted the vast number of occupations which both boys and girls can undertake. The amount of interest generated was considerable, some of the pupils immediately joining local cadet forces. This has brought the reality of service life directly to those who will play so great a part in the future.
