Before finding his gift for comedy, Craig Ferguson was a drummer for several rock and puck bands, as well as a performer in musical theater over in the United Kingdom. He also starred and appeared in several shows before moving to Los Angeles in 1994, where he had his first U.S. role in 1995 on the ABC comedy, Maybe This Time. Ferguson’s breakthrough came when he was cast on The Drew Carey Show as Mr. Wick, Drew’s boss. He wrote and starred in The Big Tease, Saving Grace and I’ll Be There and other film credits include Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events and Born Romantic. In 2005, Ferguson became the successor to Craig Kilborn on The Late Late Show. He has published two books, Between the Bridge and the River and American on Purpose: The Improbable Adventures on an Unlikely Patriot, which focuses on his life in the UK and becoming an American.
