Crafting Medicine Bottles and Power Packs April 10, 2010

Join artists Leslie King-Hammond and José J. Mapily for a morning of art making based on Celestial Praise House for Seneca Village. Learn about medicine bottles and powerpacks and then create your own using art materials at the museum. Participants will be introduced to several art techniques and then allowed to design and create an artwork of their own using these skills. Upon completing their artworks, participants will be asked to leave their works at the museum to be put on display in the exhibition.
