Craft and Design Show November 21, 2009

For its 45th year, the 2009 Craft + Design Show is scheduled for November 21-22 at the Science Museum of Virginia, returning to the spectacular rotunda as a two-day show. Application process for artists opened March 6 at Zapplication; deadline was May 22.
2009 Craft + Design Show Hours

* Friday, November 20: Patrons Preview, 5:30-9 PM (for VisArts Patron level members only)
* Saturday, November 21: Open to the public 10 AM-6 PM
* Sunday, November 22: Open to the public 11 AM-5 PM

2009 Admission (Ticket proceeds benefit the Visual Arts Center of Richmond)

* $10 VisArts Members
* $15 Weekend Pass

The 2008 Craft + Design Show was held November 21-23 at the Science Museum of Virginia, located at 2500 W. Broad St. Continuing to bring Central Virginia high-quality, one-of-a-kind craft, the 2008 show offered visitors three full days to encounter a select group of 73 unforgettable artists from across the country – past Craft + Design Show award winners, the highest scorers in a very competitive jury process and a number of new and exciting artists that have never displayed in the area before. The show provides the perfect complementary setting for a diversity of work in clay, glass, fiber, jewelry, wood and other media.
