Cradle of Filth March 2, 2007

Cradle of Filth is the biggest black metal band in the world. The BBC has done documentaries on them and cult style magazine. The Face has done features on them. The Canadian sextet Three Inches of Blood evokes a throwback to heavy metal's youthful 1980s heyday. The band's Iron Maiden-like galloping riffs and solos are speeded up to thrash metal tempos, topped with "Dungeons & Dragons" styled lyrics and titles such as 'Destroy the Orcs' and 'Ride Darkhorse, Ride.' Their latest is 'Advance and Vanquish.' In the early 1990's in Helsinki, Finland,five guys started a band called the 69 Eyes.
