(Creepers) is a laid back, one-off Wednesday night music party happening over
at The Milky Way on March 7^th 2007. Ben Sisto, the Milky Way's new
booking & promo guy will be playing an eclectic mix of personal favorites
throughout the night. Expect a little something from all genres; drum &
bass, grime, industrial, prog, hip hop, post punk, and so on. The night will
get started by a set from local internet guru Matt Sisto, who always brings great classic rock and
prog to any event. Rounding out the eccentric nature of the night will be Fat Ram-counter-gal
and true punk rocker extraordinaire, Libby. As to what she's spinning, your
guess is as good as ours.

In the world of bowling, a 'creeper' is a ball which moves
extremely slowly down the center of the lane. Slow and steady wins the race,
no? In the UK Grime scene, the "Creeper Mix Tape" Volume 1 was one of the first
mixes to help expose a lot of new UK rappers and producers to the
rest of the world back in 2003. As we enjoy both bowling and Grime (well, Ben
does anyhow) the name seemed a nice fit.

This is laid back affair, but if 200 people show up and want
to own the dance floor for a night - no one's complaining. And while we're at
it - let's make this a positive-cause affair. It's free - but there's a
suggested $3 (or more) donation - of which 100% will go to the Hyde Square Task
Force.
