The CPR School, LLC will be offering a CPR, AED and Bloodborne Pathogens Training Certification class on Friday January 29, 2010 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The CPR AED Bloodborne Pathogens course will kickoff the tattoo convention being held at the Gaylord Palms, 5 minutes from Disney World in Kissimmee.

Based in Florida, The CPR School travels to your business to perform onsite group CPR AED, First Aid and bloodborne pathogens training certification classes for various types of businesses. Our typical customers are Florida construction and utility companies, Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, condo and homeowners associations, country clubs, restaurants, health clubs, medical and dental offices, assisted living facilities, auto dealerships, RV Parks, transportation companies, churches, schools, universities, building materials / supply companies, HVAC contractors, road construction and paving companies, electrical contractors / electricians and plumbing contractors as well as people in the marine industry.

Keith Murray, the owner of The CPR School, LLC is also the lead instructor. Keith indicates that they try to customize their classes to fit the industry. For example, if they are teaching a class for contractors they will spend more time talking about injuries from cuts, burns, falls as well as heat related emergencies. When we teach for a daycare or school we spend more time on pediatric emergencies such as choking, poisoning and allergic reactions. We try to focus on what the client wants and needs instead of taking the one size fits all approach. Because of this our reviews are fantastic. The students love our CPR AED and First Aid Safety classes.

Below are a few of the comments from a class I taught for an airline

In addition to training we also sell Automated External Defibrillators – AEDs. We pride ourselves on not pushing the customer on a specific brand of AED. We try to educate the customer and help them make an informed decision as to which AED is best for the customer.

Without proper training many employers could be at risk or lawsuits or fines. OSHA's standard for first aid training in general industry, 29 CFR 1910.151(b), provides:
In the absence of an infirmary, clinic, or hospital in near proximity to the workplace which is used for the treatment of all injured employees, a person or persons shall be adequately trained to render first aid. Adequate first aid supplies shall be readily available. Many businesses fail to realize how inadequate their first aid training is until either a customer or an employee is seriously injured. We encourage our clients to be proactive and plan for accidents and medical emergencies with frequent CPR AED and First Aid training classes.
