Cowboy Troy, Johhny Napp, and Cold Train November 8, 2008

Hey all you rednecks, dixie divas, and you southern belles... Cowboy Troy is coming to town. Big Kenny of Big & Rich had to postpone his appearance scheduled for Novemeber 8th, so Cowboy Troy, another member of the Muzik Mafia, will be joining us.

Who is Cowboy Troy?? Well, he's six feet five inches tall, wears a cowboy hat, and brings a whole lot of energy to the stage through his Hick-Hop and New Rock Yawlternative music. What does Cowboy Troy say about that description? "I grew up listening to a mix of country music, rap and rock, with a little bit of funk and pop. Whenever I would go into the honky-tonks and they put on Run-DMC or Sir Mix-A-Lot, the floor would be packed with the cowboy hats swaying and people having a good time dancing. So it didn't seem like that big a deal for me once I decided to try music that all these things would converge in my music."

Cold Train is a professional tribute to great Rock & Roll that was born in America's south land, where Rock & Roll and Blues collided at the cross roads of American music and became the sound we know as good ole' American Southern Rock.

Johnny Napp is a Cattle Annie's favorite. A native of Williamsburg, Virginia, Napp earned a scholarship to James Madison University but later opted to move to Nashville to launch his country music career. Drawing comparisons to such legendary stylists as Roy Orbison and Chris Isaak, Johnny Napps voice has a unique tone and his phrasing gives each line in a song the requisite amount of emotion with an occasional hint of dramatic flair. Though in his early 20s, he has a soulfulness in his delivery that reels listeners into every song he wraps his voice around.
