Countdown to 2011 in Style at Danfords Hotel & Marina December 31, 2010

Danfords Hotel & Marina rings in 2011 with a New Year’s Eve Celebration on Friday, December 31 with a package for everyone. There will be a New Year’s Eve celebration at the property’s waterfront dance club and tapas lounge AQUA, a hotel package for those opting not to drive, and a restaurant package featuring a four-course dinner at WAVE Restaurant & Lounge.

New Year’s Eve Dinner:
The restaurant package at WAVE Restaurant & Lounge includes a four-course dinner featuring appetizer, soup or salad, entrée, and dessert as well as a champagne toast and party favors. Seating times will be at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The cost is $110 per person, plus tax and gratuity, and also includes admission to the New Year’s Gala at AQUA. For an additional $35 per person, dinner and partygoers may get top-shelf open bar.

New Year’s Eve Gala Celebration:
The Gala Celebration will start at 8 p.m. at AQUA. The celebration features music by KTU 103.5 DJ Jenny Costa, a selection of gourmet hors d’oeuvres, a live feed of the ball drop in Times Square, a midnight champagne toast and balloon drop, party hats, noisemakers, and horns. The cost is $40 per person or $75 per person with top-shelf open bar.

New Year’s Eve Hotel Package:
The Gala hotel package starts at $499, plus tax and gratuity, and includes luxurious overnight accommodations, a four-course dinner for two at WAVE Restaurant & Lounge, admission for two to the gala celebration at AQUA, a full American breakfast buffet for two on New Year’s Day, and late check-out.

Holidays at Danfords Hotel & Marina:
Every holiday season, the resort resembles a winter wonderland with Christmas trees and decorations including lights, garland and roping. WAVE Restaurant & Lounge boasts its own Christmas tree while the lobby displays a Dickens Village and a 20-foot tree. As a part of Port Jefferson’s annual Charles Dickens Festival, Danfords Hotel & Marina welcomes actors and choirs in period attire as they walk through the hotel and restaurant to greet guests and sing Christmas Carols.
