Councilman Bill Peduto reads "A Splendid Friend, Indeed" April 7, 2007

As part of Pennsylvania’s One Book, Every Young Child initiative, Pittsburgh City Councilman Bill Peduto will visit Joseph-Beth to read this year’s selected book, A Splendid Friend, Indeed by Suzanne Bloom. Children between the ages of 3 and 6 are invited to attend!

This is the second year for the program which highlights the importance of early literacy development in preschoolers. More information abou the initiative can be found at www.paonebook.org.
