Corpus Christi is the re-telling of the Jesus story as a "gay passion play" in 1950's Corpus Christi, Texas. Joshua, a gay man represents Jesus. Written by Terrence McNally of Kiss of the Spider Woman fame, Director Nic Arnzen has queered the play further by casting 6 women in the parts of male disciples. In this day and age of the Da Vinci Code see the play that caused Catholics and Fundamentalists to issue bomb threats and picket theatres when first it was perfomed in 1998.

Performances run Friday and Saturday nights at 8:30 pm, with opening night June 2, catered by Off Vine Restaurant with free appetizers and wine.

Tickets are: $15 for General Admission, $12 Students & Seniors, $10 for groups of five or more.
