An Evening with Jeffrey Weissman
and the East Bay Premiere of Indie Film Corked!

Jeffrey Weissman is known to our museum guests as the Little Tramp at our "Chaplin Days" event in recent years, but he is perhaps best known for taking over the role of George McFly in Back to the Future II and IIl. Jeffrey will tell insider’s anecdotes, share clips of some of his roles in films and TV, sneak a peek at deleted scenes from his private collection, and preview a few yet to be released shorts. Then, we'll screen the riotous "mockumentary" feature film about life in the wine industry, "Corked!" in which Jeffrey plays an OCD winemaker. (Corked, 28 Entertainment, 2009 Directed by Ross Clenenden and Paul Hawley)

Jeffrey’s resume’ includes co-starring with Clint Eastwood in “Pale Rider”, John Lithgow in “Twilight Zone: The Movie”, Dick Van Dyke in TV’s “Diagnosis Murder”. He has also been featured in dozens of other films, TV shows, commercials, live shows and a soon-to-be-released film on Mark Twain. For early film fans, Jeffrey will share a few fascinating stories of rubbing elbows with silent era stars and their descendants, and what it is like to be known for playing Charlie Chaplin, Groucho Marx, Larry Fine and Stan Laurel.
