Copenhagen - Play reading . Written by Michael Frayn. Directed by Avaan Patel. Cast- Tom Alter, Dolly Thakore and Vivek Tandon. This is a Chauraha presentation. In 1941 the German physicist Werner Heisenberg made a strange trip to Copenhagen to see his Danish counterpart and old friend, Niels Bohr, and his wife, Margrethe. Bohr and Heisenberg had worked together and revolutionized atomic physics in the 1920s, but were now on opposite sides in a world war. This dangerous and thrilling meeting is the focus of a play which explores the mysterious territory of human interactions and why we do what we do. There will be a discussion with the director and actors after the reading.
