CoolTan Art's Women's Day Celebration March 6, 2013

Celebrate International Women’s Day with arts and mental health charity CoolTan Arts with creativity, discussion, workshops and poetry. Come along, have fun, meet like-minded people and make friends. All welcome!

Daytime Workshops 1-3pm including:

• Women’s Poetry – explore your poetic side in a safe all female environment

• Art workshop – Remembering Revolutionary Women

• Self Confidence Workshop
• Discussion on Women and the cuts - TBC

Evening Book Launch 6-8pm - Stay on for the refreshments, entertainment and the launch of our new Womens Poetry Book with live readings from the contributors.

Diagnosis Hysteria? Prescription: Hysteria! is an anthology of poems by the participants of the CoolTan Arts Women’s Poetry Group and some of the female staff and volunteers who work there.
These are poems not only about mental distress, but about love and loss, the power of the natural world, being a woman, everyday joys and woes, the beauty of language.
