Between hard hitting new tracks from this powerhouse of hip-hop sultans and an invitation to Humpty Dance through to the Funky Cold Medina, this show will have you spending all your night living in a Gangsta's Paradise.

Hailing from Compton, Calif., Coolio first took the music world by storm with the irresistibly friendly Funk of "Fantastic Voyage," from his 1994 debut It Takes A Thief. At a time when The Chronic-inspired Gangsta Rap was at its peak, he showed all doubters that you didn't have to rock murder raps to hit it big. The following year he scored another major hit with the dark, string-driven "Gangsta's Paradise," which became the most successful rap single of 1995. Two years later, he dropped his third album My Soul.

Tone-Loc soared from obscurity into pop stardom in 1989 when his hoarse voice and unmistakable delivery made the song "Wild Thing" (using a sample from Van Halen's "Jamie's Cryin'") a massive hit. The song was co-written by Marvin Young, better known as Young MC, as was the second single smash, "Funky Cold Medina." The album Loc-ed After Dark became the second rap release ever to top the pop charts. Tone-Loc expanded his horizons into acting in 1992 and 1993, appearing a few times on the sitcom Roc. He was also in the films Posse and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and in 1991 returned to recording with Cool Hand Loc. His distinctively rough, raspy voice and easygoing delivery make him an appealing storyteller and his stage energy, new rhymes and old favorites continue to make a performance worth every minute.

Shock-G, still gripping and ripping it beyond the era of the Digital Underground, maintains his funky breaks and lyrical high jinks. One thing he carries with him is a sense of humor and an unabashed dedication to performance.
