Coolidge Presents YES MEN in person October 28, 2009

Gonzo political activists and filmmakers the Yes Men aka Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno will appear in person at the Coolidge Corner Theatre on Wednesday, October 28. The pair will introduce a 7:00 pm screening of their award-winning documentary The Yes Men Fix the World and take questions from the audience following the movie.

The Yes Men Fix the World, which opens at the Coolidge on Friday, October 23, is a screwball true story about how the Yes Men, posing as top executives of giant corporations, lie their way into big business conferences and pull off the world's most outrageous pranks. From New Orleans to India to New York City, armed with little more than cheap thrift-store suits, the Yes Men squeeze raucous comedy out of all the ways that corporate greed is destroying the planet.

Borat meets Michael Moore in this gut-busting wake-up call that proves a little imagination can go a long way towards vanquishing the Cult of Greed.
