You'll whip up a mouthwatering feast of sumptuous small plates and enjoy delicious wine from Banshee Wines, as you help low income women launch their own businesses and create jobs in our Bay Area communities! Learn the recipe for success that Women’s Initiative has been cooking up in San Francisco for 24 years, serving more than 24,000 low-income women to date. Arrive at the historic San Francisco Ferry Building, outside under the arches, where you’ll be greeted with a glass of wine and beautiful artisan cheese platter. Tour the marketplace where you'll meet 5 Women's Initiative graduates and sample their products. Founder and CEO of Parties That Cook, Chef Bibby Gignilliat will provide a lively cooking demonstration featuring unique culinary tips such as the fastest way to chop an onion – without a tear!

You’ll then break into groups where you'll learn to prepare a delicious menu of international small plates in a festive atmosphere, listening to upbeat music and sipping wine. Finally, you’ll relax and mingle while you enjoy the tantalizing meal you’ve created!

Towards the end of the evening, Azalina Eusope, Women's Initiative graduate and owner of Azalina's will share her inspiring story. You'll also learn Women’s Initiative’s own “Recipe for Success” for helping women transform their lives and our communities. Executive Director, Nicole Levine, will share why she has been involved with the organization for over 20 years and you'll hear from a Women's Initiative client who has grown her own successful business. The event is limited to 125 guests.
