Join Parties That Cook and Women's Initiative for a fun evening of cooking and wine - while helping the community.
You’ll find the evening to be well worth the $150 ticket, and thanks to Parties that Cook, $90 of your ticket will be tax deductible and donated to Women’s Initiative. This organization helps women with an average income level of $14,000 to get on their feet through a tailored entrepreneurial training program, resulting in many of the women starting their own business and hiring 2-3 employees each!
Arrive at the historic Ferry Building kitchen outside under the North Arcade, where you’ll be greeted with a glass of wine and light hors d’ oeuvres. Executive Chef Bibby Gignilliat will then provide a lively cooking demonstration with great tips such as the fastest way to chop an onion – without a tear!
You’ll then get into groups where you will get to prepare a delicious Mediterranean menu in a festive atmosphere, listening to upbeat music and sipping wine. Finally, you’ll be able to sit down, relax and enjoy the tantalizing meal you’ve created!
