To celebrate the launch of Rosebud Restaurants’ Executive Chef Michael Ponzio’s new Italian cookbook Cibo, Chef Ponzio will be preparing his favorite recipes from Cibo in-store as well as answering questions about his new book. Cibo, which means “food” in Italian, is a comprehensive cooking guide steeped in Italian food history and filled with delicious recipes such as Moretti Beer Stew, Eggplant-Wrapped Snapper and Pumpkin and Ricotta Gnocchi. During his cooking demonstration Chef Ponzio will be preparing some of these tasty dishes.

After training under esteemed chefs from all over Italy and America, Chef Ponzio has combined his knowledge and training to supply cooking novices and professionals alike with a variety of Italian recipes from rustic antipasti and risotto to new age seafood and meat presentations. Cibo also provides readers with a broad range of culinary techniques such as making pizza dough, homemade pastas, sausage and pastries.
