Cookie Design Contest For Kids! December 13, 2008

No one loves cookies more than kids and Meijer, the original “one-stop-shopping” supercenter, is giving kids a chance to decorate their ideal cookie. This special “Design Your Cookie” event will be presented on Saturday, December 13, 2008, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., with WSSR/96.7 radio station on hand to encourage the culinary creations for young shoppers between the ages of 4 and 12. The selection of the best holiday design will be determined by the management of Nextmedia radio stations. The selected cookie based on drawings created on December 13th will be available for purchase at the Meijer store in Bolingbrook, located at located at 755 E Boughton Rd., during the week of December 15, 2008. Meijer will even personalize the package of each cookie sold with the winner’s photo!

This one-day event will serve as the kick off for a one-week promotion with five stations owned by Nextmedia. The promotion will feature in-store entries for the chance to be one of three lucky winners to receive $1,000 in Meijer Gift Cards. The station will select winners at random and a winner each day will be announced on air on December 22, 23 and 24, 2008.
