Converge is an innovative hardcore band from Boston. Some Girls features rockers Juliana Hatfield, Heidi Gluck and Freda Love. Modern Life Is War is a Marshalltown, Iowa-based melodic hardcore punk band. They have gained notoriety of late for their unique take on the melodic hardcore and post-hardcore sound, usually avoiding standard songs structures and abandoning the use of breakdowns almost entirely. Blacklisted music carry a psychological darkness diving head first into the jaws of their introspective abyss.
