12TH PLANET
John started over from scratch. After seven years touring the world as drum-n-bass maestro Infiltrata, after winning over icons such as Goldie and Photek, John Dadzie gave himself a new name, a new sound, and a new determination. It was 2005 and the gentile beatmaker was inspired by sounds he heard spun by the likes Technical Itch, Skream and Benga. It was dubstep. And it was his calling. Once 12th Planet is born, the story really begins. The British dubstep movement takes hold in LA thanks to 12th Planet and the events he aligns himself with; Smog, Media Contender, HARD, and his own club night Dubtroit. Like the mythological twelfth planet (popularized by controversial author Zecharia Sitchin), our 12th Planet flies perpendicular to the system. His wicked beats are off axis. His subsonic frequencies surround you in their own orbit. America's first king of dubstep is ready for impact.

NASA
The story of N.A.S.A. (an acronym for North America/South America) goes back five and half years when Squeak E. Clean (Sam Spiegel) and DJ Zegon (Ze Gonzales) met in Sao Paulo, Brazil and were instantly drawn together over their mutual love for rare Brazilian funk and soul records. They decided to share their experience and create a record that similarly brought people together from different musical genres, races, religions, politics, countries and languages and ignoring these boundaries that keep people divided. In order to fully-realize their mission the two created some of the most unique musical pairings ever recorded, all within the backdrop of Brazilian funk. The result is “The Spirit of Apollo,” connecting people as diverse as David Byrne and Chuck D or Karen O. of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Ol’ Dirty Bastard, the latter two singing together on the late hip-hop star’s last known recorded track.

N.A.S.A.’s debut record “The Spirit of Apollo” includes an impressive array of guest artists who share this goal of cross-cultural collaboration. Artists on the record include Tom Waits, Method Man, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, George Clinton, David Byrne, Karen O. and Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs!, Kool Keith, RZA, Ghostface Killah, M.I.A., Spank Rock, Del the Funkee Homosapian, Cee-lo, Chuck D, Kool Kojak, Nina Persson (The Cardigans), Fatlip (Pharcyde), Gift of Gab (Blackalicious), Charli 2na (Jurassic 5), Sizzla, Amanda Blank, Seu Jorge, Ras Congo, Slim Kid Tre, KRS-One, John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Lovefoxxx (CSS), Cool Kids, DJ AM, E40, Money Mark, DJ Swamp, Sean Lennon and many more.

“The Spirit of Apollo” will be released in January 2008 on Anti- Records. In addition to the record, N.A.S.A. plans to release a feature film documenting the making of “The Spirit of Apollo” and featuring music videos animated with artwork from Shepard Fairey, Marcel Dzama, Sage Vaughn, The Date Farmers and many others.
