It is an exhibition in which one has to explore the details with leisure, reflect on them and enjoy their beauty and creations. What is unique about this exhibition is that all the paintings are less 20 inches in size.Amit Bhar's serene lily series are sensual and dreamy landscapes which, transports one to the beauty of nature. The details are so real giving a virtual presence as one gets absorbed by their beautyIn contrast, Tapas Ghoshal's layered abstract images are introspective and exploratory with hues and textures emerging out to create a lyrical mood.Bengal Artists Dewashish Das & Ramanada Bandhyopadhyay's feminine figures are spontaneous with firm and graceful forms. Earthy figures with vibrant surroundings and patterns are what strike the viewer as he absorbs the compositions.Anjali Sapra, Dipak Bannerjee and Arpana Caur have deeper meanings to explore. The tantric forms are intriguing so is the symbols and patterns.G Subramanian's collages are cheerful figures crafted with detail and artistic imagination which brings a mood of wonderment and simplicity often forgotten in the complexity of urban living.
