Contemporary Craft and Decorative Arts November 19, 2009

The museum's Renwick Gallery is home to the nation's premier collection of American studio craft and contemporary decorative arts. The permanent collection features works in all of the craft media - glass, ceramic, wood, fiber and metal - as well as mixed media objects. Jewelry and studio furniture make up a significant part of the collection.
