Contemporary Collections: Music Dance & Technology February 21, 2007

The IU Contemporary Dance Program, School of HPER and the Center for Electronic and Computer Music at Jacobs School of Music, are pleased to present a program of collaborative works in the performing arts and technology. Professor Jeffrey Hass and students will present original musical compositions, and the Indiana University Dance Theatre will present works by faculty and guest artists. The evening will culminate with collaborations between students Abi Rich (dance) and Iddo Aharony (music) and Professors Hass and Shea, music and dance respectively. Hass and Shea's work will feature interactive dance technology, where projections will accompany the dance and are produced in real time by live video feed. The performance promises to be a true exploration in the field of creative digital arts.
