CONNECT WITH THE SPIRIT WITHIN - A Day of Workshops & Practices October 3, 2009

On Saturday, October 3, you'll have a magnificent opportunity to see what the Bay Area Gnostic Center is all about by participating in numerous workshops that are designed to give you a taste of how the practices of modern Gnosis can benefit you. We’re sure that you will leave feeling more peaceful, aware and knowledgeable about what it means to feel connected to the spirit within.

Below is the schedule for the day. Feel free to drop in for any of them or stay for the day. Our address is 3201 Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley. We are only a few blocks away from the Ashby BART station and there is a stop for Bus Line 18 right in front of our door.

Unleashing the Power of Sound
Heighten your perception and feel the soothing, mystical force that mantra practices give. You’ll learn 3 different mantras, how to practice them, and the effects each have upon your ability to perceive the world around you.

Journey to the Center of your Heart
Within your heart there is both a gateway to higher worlds and your closest spiritual guide. Follow 3 guided meditations that can leave you with a mystical experience that can help you move forward on your spiritual path.

Enjoy an assortment of healthy, homemade dishes and desserts including vegan and vegetarian; all available for reasonable donations.

You’ve heard about OBEs, but have you experienced one yourself? Learn a few ways to keep your mind awake as your body falls asleep, allowing you to consciously explore the amazing world that is beyond the physical.

Awareness Workshop
In order to succeed in anything, one must be attentive; responding to the events of life in the most intelligent ways. This is the heart of the Gnostic spiritual work. Learn how to expand your awareness to new horizons both outside and within yourself in this interactive workshop.
