TO BENEFIT VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
IN CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL WOMEN?S HISTORY MONTH

Coral Gables, FL --- Eve had the apple. Susan B. Anthony, the right for women to vote. Gloria Steinem -The Feminist Movement. Divorce Author, Amy Botwinick ?her ?girlfriend?s guide,? ?CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR DIVORCE: The Road To Finding Your Happily Ever After? in one hand, a vibrator in the other like a virtual Statue of Liberty and a www.Myspace.com/todaysdivorcedwoman network of over 600 women behind her. It's National Woman's History Month ?Divorce Evolving With Changing Times? Saturday, March 11th, 2006 at 8 p.m., at Books and Books (265 Aragon Avenue, Coral Gables * 305-442-4408 www.booksandbooks.com). Botwinick will bring sisterhood together for a cause - women helping women, benefiting victims of domestic violence/women?s shelters with a mission to change the way we talk about dealing with DIVORCE, as the tainted title ?divorcee? title is now passé with over two million divorces in the U.S. each year. From the right to vote, to broadening outward to today's modern multi-tasking, career superwoman, Botwinick celebrates the changes, empowering women at their most vulnerable journey point of divorce, with information and inspiration, providing the emotional tools and battery operated ones, to move on with life and evolve with the times and her Myspace network (and her own website www.todaysdivorcedwoman.com) is no exception. . With a mission for women to create their own history, paving a new harmonious life, she gives helpful hints from single parenting, to working a career and handling legal and financial matters, Botwinick shows women the way to "The Road To Finding Your Happily Ever After" and is incorporating her ?Myspace Sisters? into this one-of-a-kind celebration.

The book signing will feature a ?Happily Ever After Party? featuring Botwinick?s University of Miami Graduate, Myspace sister, first generation Cuban-American Photographer-Artist, Elena Gamez www.myspace.com/ele26 who will be showcasing her creative visual arts in a display celebrating History of the Woman. Hors d?ourves and free raffle tickets are offered for anyone who purchases Botwinick?s book to win one of Gamez?s unique pieces, titled ?Raw? (a woman?s abdomen, holding raw eggs ? signifying womb, birth, life, rebirth, infertility, new beginnings, journey and raw emotional vulnerability). The general public is invited to purchase additional tickets for $5 each which will benefit women?s shelters. Botwinick?s other Miami Native Myspace sister, Indie Singer-Songwriter-Musician extraordinaire, Deblois Milledge www.myspace.com/debloismusic will perform original songs from her album, Leviathan, which is a fusion of gospel, pop, folk, country and blues influences to add to the celebration of women uniting in spirit and song through her dynamic acoustic stylings. Deblois launches her Southeastern U.S. Tour in April. Leviathan is a big word for whale, or giant sea creature, a fitting title for a record of songs about the things that are bigger than us, love, loss, history and the ocean, the perfect tie-in to what the waves of relationships and life, romance, divorce symbolize as a whole.

Botwinick, a Boca Raton resident-single mother of two-12-year Chiropractor-turned-first-time author has been pro-actively on a multi-hyphenate mission of her own to help women become armed with education and information, Botwinick is an advocate for safer sex, as a part of the 'health education' while promoting her book as part of her determination to provide public outreach. She has survival tips, resources, and a 'continuation' of her book with helpful information, on her website, www.todaysdivorcedwoman.com. Book and product sales on Botwinick's website result in a portion of the proceeds going to victims of domestic violence and women's shelters.
