Congaree Campfire Chronicles October 23, 2009

Please help us make America`s Best Idea even better. Join us for a national day of service and celebration in your 391 national parks. Follow a guide through the forest to see costumed interpreters reenacting life in the Congaree floodplain from 1700s to present. Tours will depart the Harry Hampton Visitor Center every 15 minutes and last 2 hours. Tours are one mile in length and follow an accessible trail. The first tour begins at 5:30pm and the last tour departs at 7:30 pm. Please join us for this living history program depicting stories from the past.
