Conference on Molecular Diagnostics February 5, 2010

We (AIPNA - www.aipna.org) are organizing the first ever molecular diagnostics symposium in Pune (Feb 6-7). This is geared towards doctors, researchers and entrepreneurs. The field is relatively new in India and is wide open with giants such as Reliance Labs, Ranbaxy, Quest being major players. There is a lot of Innovation potential (one of our aims is to promote this - FIND - Foundation for Innovation and Novel Diagnostics) is sending a speaker - Dr. Rodrigues who will highlight this.

There is a lot of entrepreneurial opportunity along with innovation potential in this interface field. Towards this, I am bringing excellent faculty to teach the basics of this field to anyone interested. I would like for our Alumni in the local area to benefit from this. The local host is Golwilkar Metropolis Labs and KIMS with support from AFMC, local research and health care institutions.
