Pendleton, Indiana 46064

In1925, Helen Keller challenged Lions to become "knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness" during the association's international convention. Today, Lions are recognized worldwide for their service to the blind and visually impaired. Lions demonstrate their commitment to sight conservation through eyeglass recycling, sight partnerships and countless other sight services.

The Pendleton Lions are Sponsoring a special “Concert in the Park” on September 30th at 4:30 p.m. featuring the Riddell’s. They are a local family group who perform southern gospel. The Pendleton Community Library is presenting the concert. At this time as Pendleton Lions, we are challenged to gather resources to support our efforts to preserve sight locally and around the world.

Admission: Bring and donate used glasses and hearing aids.

The Lion’s will be selling refreshments and will ask for a free will donation contribution for this years’ “Sight First Campaign”. Come, enjoy and support our efforts to eliminate blindness and serve as Helen Keller’s “Knights of the Blind”.
