On Tuesday, May 27 at 8:00p.m. violinist YONAH ZUR and cellist MICHAL KORMAN, will perform “A Concert for Israel’s Environment” in the beautiful, resonant sanctuary of Congregation Shaare Zedek.

Zur and Korman are two of Israel’s finest young musicians, both active as soloists and chamber musicians and past participants of the prestigious Marlboro Music Festival. The one-hour performance will include a solo cello suite by J.S. Bach, the Ravel Duo for Violin and Cello and solo violin works by Israeli composers Paul Ben-Haim and Menachem Zur. A reception will follow.

Concert proceeds will benefit environmental causes in Israel including providing bicycles to children of Sderot as well as the Green Apprenticeship program at Kibbutz Lotan.
