Concert for Heroes June 27, 2010

Beverley Knight will head a stunning line-up for Concert for Heroes 2010 which is being staged in Priory Park, Southend-on-Sea on Sunday June 27th as a grand finale to Southend’s Armed Forces Weekend.

The soul diva will perform her repertoire backed by her live band and will be supported by no less than soul legends The Real Thing and one of the nation’s favourite ever X Factor stars, Andy Abraham plus, just announced, the fabulous Illegal Eagles will perform to their home crowd too. This is the biggest outdoor music event in Southend this year, so a real party atmosphere is guaranteed.

The event is an open air picnic style concert, so bring a blanket or folding chairs and a picnic (although there are full concessions on site for food and beverages (inc a wine and beer tent). Tickets are £27.50 in advance, £32.50 on the day (but if you are a member of the armed forces or a veteran please call the ticket line on 01702 428888 and quote your ID number and you can purchase tickets at just £20 (same on the gate - produce ID).
