Concert for Cancer May 30, 2009

"Concert for Cancer" will be held on May 30th, 2009. The event is being run and coordinated by a group of students ages 14-17 from New York. The event will be at the Aegean Entertainment Complex in Poughkeepsie, NY and will include a collaboration of well-known and local musicians in various genres of music. Artists performing include: Tiffany Giardina, Chasing Daybreak, The Life I Lead, Dani Atkinson, The Greyhounds, Sunrise and Stereo, Tri-Stayte, Michelle Barone feat. Squeeky Plus, Ryan Dutcher:Illusionist, and VP Dance Academy. This is the FIRST time in history the ENTIRE Aegean Entertainment Complex will be open for an event, which includes: CLUB INTRIGUE, THE AQUA LOUNGE, and ZONYX NIGHTCLUB. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the American Cancer Society of Dutchess County. Our event is not only a concert, but it will raise cancer awareness in the community. 1 in 3 people are affected by cancer in their life time, and we want to help find a cure. We are also in need of donations. Not only monetary, but time as well. Every bit of help we get is one step closer to raising our goal of $50,000+ to donate to the American Cancer Society.
