The Spring Framework is an open source application framework for Java. This framework has taken the Java software community by storm. In this class, students learn Spring Web application development. In particular, students learn Spring MVC and Spring Web Flow 2. Spring MVC is Spring's Model 2 framework for developing Web applications. Web Flow is an extension to Spring MVC for building and running rich Web applications. Web Flow provides better Web work flow support and also provides support for Ajax development and integration of JavaServer Faces.
