A free musical carnival for the entire family!

Join us at Crowden Music Center for musical fun throughout the day, as we kick off our 25th anniversary season!

Community Music Day features our Instrument Petting Zoo, where kids (and adults) can explore, touch, and play all the different instruments in an orchestra, instrument-making workshops and demonstrations, face painting, and more! This year, we are pleased to offer a very special treat:

Conductor Benjamin Simon and members of the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra present "All Instruments Great and Small"

Three family-friendly mini-concerts! Featuring Crowden faculty member Michel Taddei (double bass), Tod Brody (piccolo), and two young Crowden soloists performing the Bach Double Violin Concerto. Performances at 11:00 am, 11: 40 am, and 12:20 pm.

Community Music Day is Crowden’s largest outreach event of the year, with attendance averaging 800 people each year.
