Community Garden Tour and Dinner August 2, 2012

Guests will board buses and trolleys on a tour that spans 4 of Hartford’s 15 community gardens. At each garden, you will meet gardeners and explore their culture through the food they cultivate. After the tour, guests will return to the Good Shepherd Community Garden for locally-grown dishes prepared by locally-celebrated chefs, bid on silent auction items, and tour the historic Good Shepherd Church, built by Samuel Colt. There will also be an open bar with beer and wine as well.
