Community Forum: Health Wealth & Wellness Week September 23, 2008

A Community Forum will take place at Second Baptist Church, 757 East 26th Street, to hear and discuss various problems in our community, and present strategies to address them. Congregational Action to Lift Lives (C.A.L.L.), the NAACP and the Pennsylvania Health Access Network will present a panel of professionals from various professions that impact healthcare issues including violence. Panelists are:

HEALTH: Access to care, community education and personal responsibility Dr. Hank C. Hill, MD, Surgical Oncologist, St. Vincent Health Center Patricia Stubber, Northwest Pennsylvania Area Health Education Center

WEALTH: Living wage, violence and anti-poverty strategies

NAACP Dorothy Smith and Rick Adams, SEIU, (Service Employee Intnl Union)

WELLNESS: Systemic reform & advocacy Simone Baer, PA Health Access Network
